SAGE Launches two new Therapeutic Advances Journals in Neurology and Gastroenterology
    Published 25 July 2008

Los Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore and Washington DC (July, 2008) – SAGE has launched two new journals in a series that focuses on the latest advances in drug treatment: Therapeutic Advances in Neurological Disorders and Therapeutic Advances in Gastroenterology.

Following the success of Therapeutic Advances in Cardiovascular Disease and Therapeutic Advances in Respiratory Disease, launched by SAGE in 2007, these new titles examine current and future trends in drug therapy.

Therapeutic Advances in Neurological Disorders covers all areas of the field, focussing on clinical research of the more-common non-cerebrovascular neurological disorders.

Therapeutic Advances in Gastroenterology encompasses the highest-quality, peer-reviewed articles, reviews and scholarly comment on pioneering efforts and innovative studies relating to medicine and pharmacology in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. All Therapeutic Advances titles offer authors rapid publication in a high quality peer-reviewed journal. The journals use a fully-online production workflow, from online submission via the SAGETRACK online submission system (powered by Manuscript Central), to online editing and proofing.

“The journals offer timely, authoritative content that is aligned to current clinical treatment activities within the field,” said Managing Editor of the new titles, Dr Gordon Mallarkey, SAGE. “Readers also benefit from the powerful browse and searching functionality of our award-winning online platform.” (SAGE Journals Online was awarded 2007 winner of the Best Platform Award by the Professional and Scholarly Publishing division of the American Association of Publishers.) Both journals are offering a free online trial for the first two volumes.
